Lewis was sentenced to 18 months probation, 200 hours of community service, fines and other conditions set by the court. ARE YOU FRICKIN KIDDING ME??? - Anyone else would have been looking at jail or prison time. What a joke!
Out of all the coments made, yours hits the nail on the head.
You got that right. I know of a couple guys that did get in a bar fight. One of them got 6 years and the other one got 7. THIS guy is responsible for the death of an innocent child and gets 5 years? All I can say is: "Are you freakin kiddin me?"
My thoughts exactly. So very sad.
What a bunch of crap this is. If I were to damage or vandalize a city park, I would be cited and held accountable for the damage. Why does this group get special rights?
I'm not sure about that either but I made sure to stop by the front desk and TELL them that they better not bill for the appointment. I guess the doctor was quite shocked when he walked in the exam room and found no patient. (I inquired about the appointment after waiting 45 minutes in the reception area and was taken back to the room - only to wait another 15 minutes before I left).
ha ha ha ha ha....THAT'S GREAT! Thanks for making me smile.
I agree with you. As a patient, you are expected to be on time, but as the physician, it's okay to make people wait. (I do understand things can get hectic and run behind schedule - but that should be the exception). Several months ago I walked out of the doctor's office after waiting an hour after my appointment time. Let me tell you, it got their attention and things are different now!
As much as I would like to see that precious little boy returned........I cannot help but think of Elizabeth Diane Downs. So very sad!
They do this work for about $3.00 a day, saving the state A LOT of money. It would cost a whole lot more to have this work done if the state had to pay the going rate or even minimum wage.
