HGTV Design Star : David's Vlog: Tom Lucked Out

OH, David, I love your show; I love your designs. I can't believe you are stuck vlogging about this season's horrible DesignStar. If you can get out of that responsibility, do it as quickly as possible before it taints your design reputation. Run!!!!!!

OK, I have read half of the comments and I have yet to find one that is positive about the show. So, come on, HGTV--can it before it ruins the network!

HGTV Design Star : Episode 3 Roundup

Wow! Such an outpouring of contempt for this season's show! But I have to agree. It's awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's more than awful--it's horrific, it's (well, there aren't enough horrible adjectives to describe it). Why not spare us all and just take it off the air. I don't care who wins. I won't watch their show anyway!

I agree. I thought this show was about design, not politics. It was supposed to showcase the designers' style and abilities--not how they can backstab their competition. Also, why don't we get to hear the judges' comments, like on Project Runway. We truly have no idea what they like and dislike about the designs, or why one is the winner and another is in the bottom two. I really don't care, at this point, who wins. I won't watch the show they get anyway. And I'm done with this season!

HGTV Design Star : David's Vlog: Terrible Tera

I agree totally about Nina. I wouldn't watch her show, and I certainly would never hire her--I would be afraid she wouldn't listen to me and just go do her own thing--she comes across as very arrogant.
