Jessica Knows : Reporters Desperate for a Story: Prey for Post

I think in every business you you get "Swag". Even in the plumbing business, we get courted to use specific products by getting offered free trips, free product, promotional items, etc. It is part of the game. It still doesn't change the fact that we won't use/sell/recommend a product if we don't believe in it. But should the FTC regulate us because Toto gave us a sample toilet in our office? Should I put a big sign in my bathroom stating, we had the opportunity to try out this toilet - please enjoy! I think most blogger disclose. If they aren't, obviously I'm unaware! But it is not just the blogosphere that this is happening. It is magazines, newspapers, your local plumbing business, EVERYWHERE!

So essentially he used the other publications for his "fact" checking without even a simple email to double check with the actual source. Nice. I agree, though. Dig a little deeper. You are transparent. Others may not be....so I don't understand why you keep getting targeted expect journalists are lazy and just keep using the "original" story for their stories.

I'm the same way...your crumpled up papers look like mine. I hate keeping up on organization! I'm loving these products so far...durable, and it is keeping me more on track and getting papers out of the way!

LMAO here...sounds like a comeback from my husband! Does couponing count since I blog about it? Otherwise, it is called interacting with other moms at sporting events. That would be my only other "hobby" that is non tech related!
