I could not agree more with you Jim. Its about time we bring back a big part of our ecosystem even when there are so many people filled with fear about the reintroduction of wolves.

Here you go and I am quoting from the article. This is not the first study to say this. When they were first introduced in Yellowstone the wolf numbers increased dramatically but then dropped dramatically as the elk and deer populations evened out. It was also noticed that the native flora and fauna were able to take hold and not get trampled on by the deer and elk which had very few predators to harass them. You and I do not have the right to play God and say which animal has the right to live or not. I am a hunter just like you and I want the deer and elk populations to be healthy and they can stay that way even with the reintroduction of wolves in their native habitat.

Spencer Lennard, project director of Big Wildlife, said some studies show wolves help keep animals such as deer and elk from grazing freely along creekside riparian areas and damaging fish habitat.

"I think they need to be supported," he said. "They are critical ecological components to this land."

You are obviously an extremist for the left cause and are either not willing to listen to facts or just do not care. Either way your radical views and the radical views of the right are what is killing this country. Settle down and let everyone have the right to their own opinion in a legal manner. No other group including the Tea Party has been allowed this much room to protest. All our city and other cities are saying is to obey the law and nothing else. The occupy movement does not have a permit to occupy the parks they are in. Even the city of Portland tried to help them get a permit and they refused.

This protest does not even have any goals they wish to see happen. Its just a bunch of jobless people with no clear purpose or direction. Nothing is going to change by camping illegally on city property.

It is not just the people who do not support the occupy movement that are using violence. Each side is blaming the other when both sides share some blame. We need more balance and enough of this leftist or rightist way is the only way.
