!! So glad you're learning clawhammer- I think it suits the instrument so much more nicely than the three-finger style (I am a self-taught banjoist and just play a bastardization of all techniques haha). Are you familiar with Abigail Washburn or Kelly McFarling? Two of my fave lady-banjoists doing interesting and lovely things!

the duo sounds kickass i will check it out! I made music with my favorite-person-in-the-world-who-is-also-my-twin-sister, but we are now separated by several hours of travel :/ ( http://music.theskipperdees.com ) so these days I'm usually just rocking out some animal songs with the tiny rock stars at my elementary school.
