Absolutely!

When I read #1 I thought that would be acceptable and that would be a beautiful moment in the show.

I'd love to see something about the what gives the earth ponies their strength to grow food instead of just leaving it at they are strong so they can do the labor.

I'm always impressed by these posts. Just amazing work and so many of them are very advanced technically. I'd love to have any one of these posted.

It's a show Hasbro puts up with posted on Youtube without aired commercials. They do that because they know it spreads the show to people who can't watch it otherwise. How is that different from torrenting?

And I love how you are trying to paint this as good vs evil. I live in the grown up world where I have realized there is no good or evil.

Ripping off Hasbro? Is that how you see it? Wow, maybe that's the disconnect. I see it as adding, and you see it as ripping off as in theft as in Jan Animations was stealing from Hasbro. Wow, just wow.

Creative? Maybe. But in this case I would think Hasbro shouldn't want that as in it if Jan makes something it might be competing against them. Instead of using Jan to promote their product, their lawyers are screwing it up.

"They mentioned him violating their TRADEMARKS, which is really key, because you MUST prosecute if they violate your trademarks. "

you must
you Must
You MUST
YOU MUST!!!

WHY?

Why not license them? Especially Jan Animations as there was nothing offensive about their work.

This is just a perfect example of a soulless corporation who doesn't know how to handle their fans. Instead of destroying their wild garden, why not cultivate it? Shakespeare was right. Lawyers are the problem. Any reasonable gardener/business person would not kill at productive plant just because they didn't plant it. But bring in the lawyers and they need to justify their existence writing threatening letters which brings us to here. Instead of seeing a useful tree producing good fruit, out come the axes.

You're right. But they happened at the same time and it's easy to associate the two and confuse the detail. However, the same applies, they could have sought to license FiW and FiM instead of semi-banning one and CnD'ing the other.

No, another solution could be Hasbro seeks to license Jan Animations.

Torrenting was something you kept your mouth shut about? How did it spread so fast?

Oh, and the pirating part, Hasbro puts up with the episodes being posted on Youtube without commercials.

Thank you for attempting the moral smack down.

Their primary market is those that PAY for their goods, which I do. Since Hasbro puts up with the episodes being posted on Youtube without the aired commercials, I don't feel too bad about torrenting the episodes since Youtube doesn't to 1080p for me (choke and crashes).

So I'm sorry, your moral outrage is falling on deaf ears.
