9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : iTV gets mocked up

A Touch screen TV is pointless... maybe the remote would be an ipod-touch-esque touch screen, but building it into the TV display would be prohibitively expensive (a 50" touch screen panel is not gonna be cheap) and widely useless.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Want unlimited data on your iPhone 5? Sprint will hook you up mid-October

And have the carriers come to an agreement on the prices of their plans? Good luck with that. Essentially you would be paying a flat fee for service on a "universal" network to Apple, who then pays the service provider the fee? It would be a ruinous business model for carriers as we know them, which I'm not saying would be a bad thing but is unlikely to ever happen for numerous reasons, anti-trust laws being one of them. Plus I'd say Apple has little interest in being that deeply involved with the service providers.

Some issues with RedSn0w on top of GreenPois0n, curious if anyone can help: I ran greenpoison on a clean install of 4.2.1. I am on 3gs, new bootloader, 6.15 baseband. Used custom firmware to restore. Ran greenpoison, and had no Cydia in loader. Ran Redsn0w to install cydia. Now, my phone likes to choose moments to restart, then go into a loop of restarting, getting to the "slide to unlock", not allowing me to unlock, then going into the loop again. All my network settings are deleted when it finally allows me to use my phone. I tried the whole process three times (clean install, greenpoison, redsn0w) with the same result. Any ideas???

Can someone PLEASE please help me out here: New iPhone 3GS TinyUmbrella says it's on 4.1, w/o updated baseband. Although I don't know for sure, since I've been running 4.2.1 and 4.1 customs all night trying to get something back. I have 4.1 SHSH. I run TSS server then open iTunes to restore to 4.1. Nothing, just either a 1600 or 15xx error. EVERYTIME!!! When I kick out of recovery it goes right back to the itunes plug in screen. Redsn0w gets stuck at either "Flashing Baseband" or "activation bundles", then kicks out right back into recovery mode. EVERY SINGLE attempt to restore is giving me an error after about 80% completion. PLEASE HELP!!!

So, still stuck. I make progress, getting to install firmware and just about to the end. Then, I get an error message. Everytime. I also tried Redsn0w, and it gets to the flashing baseband screen and stays there for a lonnnng time. Then, it just shuts off. This is the second phone, brand new, and I'm not sure what I could possibly be doing wrong. My 4.1 SHSH are stored locally via tinyumbrella.

OK, so Apple replaced my phone. Before I repeat the same mistake, can I just get a double check on what I should do. new iPhone is a 3GS, on 4.1, basband 5.14.02. I am an unlocker. Should I use PwnageTool unlock edition? Or RedSn0w?

So I posted earlier, but now I'm really, really stuck. I got 4.1 restored. It was working great, I installed ultrasn0w, and rebooted. Then, I plugged into computer to tethered reboot. Now, everytime I run redsn0w, it gives me the "YELLOW" screen that shifts to different streaked colors. Itunes restore goes to 1600 error and such. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm desperate. 3gs, new bootrom. new ipad basband.

Now used RedSn0w to "just boot tethered" and am stuck at the pineapple logo, with constant vibrating or syncing noise. Itunes is recognizing the phone and syncing it/setting it up. WHats the deal this is the messiest jb/unlock ever.

Ah, good point. So basically I'm screwed with this "connect to iTunes" screen until someone gets a pwnage tool out that can create a 4.2.1 custom firmware for late-bootrom 3gs? Or am I just screwed in general, since this phone was not pwned before.
