I have the same error like some other, luckily, i am not the only one with this problem. I updated with the custom ipsw, it worked, then i was in recvoery mode, got all the time error 1015. then i found a way how to get to 4.1 with redsn0w. this works happily, i thought i killed my lovely phone!! then i tried it again, to put on the custom 4.2.1, but it aborts at the installation already and i get back in the recovery mode again. I tried all that for more than 5 times now.. it doesnt work. I am on a iPhone 3G 4.1 with BB 06.15.00 now. Can anybody explain me, how i can fix this problem, how to get 4.2.1. on that iPhone??
