Washington County TX Republican Club is forming a Conservative Forum to have a rally on 9/12/09. Any ideas, help with speakers etc ., would really be appreciated.

My name is Ellie and I am with the Republican Club of Washington County, TX. We are planning a conservative forum for 9/12/09. Any advise or suggestions for speakers. I need a way to contact speakers. We are underfunded and can offer food and a place to stay. We can have a book sale and signing if anyone would like it. I bought 4 extra "Common Sense" books and will pass these out at our next meeting and state these are to be read and passed on. Each receipiant is to sign it and pass it again. We'll see how far the books spead in a couple of months.

Has anyone seen the news conference where the Stupid comment was made. Obama called the reporter by name and got a male, whose question he was not expecting . He gave a brief answer and then realized ( I believe someone told him) he had the wrong reporter. So he repeated the name and the woman stood up, he called on her and got the question he was prepared to answer. His answer was not spontaneous but prepared. He did not misspeak! Go back and review the last of that news conference. He never gets questions he is not prepared for.
