Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU football: Buffs roll UMass for first win of season - Buffzone

Hey 63, I don't post much anymore, but love the Buffs and share your frustration about not being able to get the PAC-12 Network (I have DirecTV). But here's one solution. You need a friend with Dish who has the "Hopper" and will allow you to share it. Then download DishAnywhere to your phone or tablet/iPad (its a free download) and simply logon through your internet provider and enjoy the game. I even ran an HDMI cable from my iPad to my HDTV and it will project to about a 46" HD picture which is more that satisfactory. One caution, you and your friend can't be on the Hopper at the same time. Good luck!

Back in the day a soldier had to be an E-6 and on his second enlistment to volunteer for SF. Also required endorsements from you C.O. and a spotless record. Don't know if that's changed or not today. Either way its a helluva of a challenge. Don't think I could make it again. My old knees are shot from too many jumps. "All the way!" Mister VK.

Agree. Take advantage of the attitude and ASU may be little flat after the doubt OT win over the Cats. Copy Nolan Richardson at Arkansas a few years back and unleash 40 minutes of hell.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Colorado men\'s basketball: Dinwiddie injures knee vs. Washington - Buffzone

It's stunning how a player's knee and future, and perhaps a team's psyche, can turn in an instant. I truly hope that Spencer will be ok. The young man has a tremendous upside and is a joy to watch. That said, it's really the next man up. For however long Dinwiddie may be out, Boyle must now find someone to run the point of what remains a very young team. Will be interesting to see who emerges as the "heart" leader on the floor as well. They still have the talent, now it will be interesting to see if they can find the will and confidence to overcome the loss of their leader. I still believe that Boyle will find a way adjust and keep this team competitive.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU Buffs quarterback Sefo Liufau ready for first Pac-12 start - Buffzone

Here's another option. I won't give up my DirecTV...been happy with the service for years. Threaten to leave and they will give you incentives to stay. Then...find someone who has Dish; pitch in and get DishAnywhere and the PAC 12 network on that Dish system. Logon to that Dish account on your device connected to the internet and enjoy the Buffs on your device/PC or do what I did and connected my iPAD to my HDTV with an HDMI "dongle" cable and watch them in HDTV. Takes a few minutes to log on and set up; works great and much easier and cheaper than switching providers. Only problem I have is an occasional loss of the stream from my IP, but a quick refresh gets it back up, and only one user can be on the DishAnywhere system at the same time, but he has two TVs so never an issue. Perfectly legal. Good luck! Go Buffs!

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Mike Bohn resigns as Colorado Buffaloes athletic director - Buffzone

Just this fan's .02 worth. I won't miss him. Yeah, he was in the chair when the PAC 12 door (re)opened, but CU was probably going to join regardless of who was AD. But he extended Hawkins when everything said that dog wasn't gonna hunt anymore, hired Embree for all the wrong reasons, dawdled around on finding his replaciment (sneaking people in and out the place behind food carts, etc.). He struck gold with Boyle proving that a blind hog can find an acorn if it keeps rooting aroung long enough, but with all coaching positions now pretty much locked in for the forseeable future, he needed to make something happen on funding the facilities upgrade and that just wasn't going well for him. The gang on the hill showed him the door. Too bad DiStephano isn't going with him.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU Buffs forward Andre Roberson decides to turn pro - Buffzone

It's seems that given the late hour of the announcement, Andre and his family studied this decision from all angles. This is his decision and certainly many factors went into it. There are no givens or certainties regardless of which why he decided to go. The young man, as well as his family, have been class acts. He gave CU three great years and has been instrumental in laying the foundation of a solid basketball program. In my opinion that is a helluva a legacy and we should celebrate what he has given the program and not lament his leaving. Good luck Dre and thanks for the ride.

Maybe it wasn't that they "didn't want him," but that Taggert was their first choice all along. Taggert is not exactly chopped liver. He's paid his dues and is considered in that category of a young "up and comer" that all schools look for. He also was a local high school star in the Tampa area who has maintained contact with area high school coaches and is already a well respected recruiter in Florida. MacIntyre's Florida roots aren't quite as strong, and was a late entry into the process. That he was interviewed under the circumstances suggests that MacIntyre's resume was strong enough that USF felt compelled to interview him despite their obvious preference for Taggert. Its all about the fit.

Those are facts, I agree; but this also tells me two things aside from the fact that they have to recruit against the big dogs in Cali and the rest of the PAC-12 and other big boys that dip into the Cali talent pool. 1. Both are recruiting kids that fit their respective programs. 2. Both have been able to coach that talent and build winners Truth in performance. GO BUFFS.;)

Maybe us "ol guys" have been around this program long enough to recognize a snake oil saleman when we see one. It's not about "rooting." We've been cheering the Buffs for many a moon and I intend to continue doing so, thank you very much. Bohn may have done some good things, but to claim the BB program's success on some grand plan designed by this gang while the football program keeps sinking to new depths is asking a lot for this "ol guy" to swallow. Boyle is saving Bohn's bacon. This is Bohn's third hire for a football head coach. Most ADs should be so lucky. You have a great day Mr VK and....GO BUFFS!!!!! xD

IMO Jones would be a solid hire based on his experience and pedigree. But, I'm not so sure that he is as "eager to leave Cinncinati" as the DC writes. Yes, the B1G or PAC-12 would be a move up, but Cinncinati may be a candidate for the Big XII or ACC if they expand again. Also Cinncinati is reportedly working on a new contract deal with Jones. To get him to take over this mess, I suspect Bohn will have to put together a package that is at least in the $2M/year range, free rein to select his own coaches, and firm committment to upgrade the facilities, plus other incentives for championships, bowl appearances, academic performance, etc. We'll know soon. Go Buffs!

Might be a good OC candidate if he is as innovative as some say. But new coach will probably want his own team, which means guys he is familiar and comfortable with. Most, if not all of the current staff is probably on borrowed time. As Brown points and knows so well, that's the nature of the business. I respect that Brown is playing it out in a professional manner, but his record makes his future at Boulder as DC untenable.
