Also, the house can bring impeachment hearings upon the president and the senate would act as judge, but again, with them all in bed together. Washington had made it openly known that any found guilty of treason or cowardess during the revolutionary war, he would shoot them himself. If you look back through history many, many things were used as currency. Long before mining, minting, drilling and other technologies of the sort, it is known that people traded food, livestock, goods for goods based on location, climate and talent. Cabinet makers would trade storage for food or any other commodity that someone else owned because the farmer might not have been a very good wood worker and so forth. There was very little need for money. As time went on people found two things, 1) perishable commodities had a “ shelf life” or 2) during more prosperous times they had wasted overstock. So then becomes the introduction of a non-perishable commodity i.e. precious metals and the sort. I mean how many pieces of furniture and other long lived commodities could one person really need, (also bearing in mind that life was lived with much less whimsical desires) and people only cared about having the basic needs in life. But to refer to my statement even gold in the ground has to be mined and minted be fore it really has any intrinsic value. If I had a ton of gold, unknown to me, under my land it, in and of itself, has no value.
