Yeah I mean her friends need to definitely back the fuck off. But she also wants to know how she can frame her decision to not want to move out without seeming like a "heartless bitch" which...I mean, no matter how misguided her ex is, refusing to move out because she's fine it with the arrangement and stating that her ex's inability to let go is his problem is...pretty heartless. I think part of the Universal Code of Being Decent To The Ex You Broke Up With is being the one who is willing to move out.
