I should have known this was the episode with Cory Monteith since I have only seen three episodes of this show (the first three), but that was still a bit of a punch to the gut. RIP, dude.

This show still isn't grabbing me, much like I peaced out after three episodes when it was originally airing. I don't know if even Jared Padelecki and the hilarious parade of Vancouver actors will keep me in this time.

Oh, but peanut M&Ms are totally a valid survival food. I read once that they are one of the best junk foods for you because of the peanuts and I'm totally using that as an excuse to eat them nearly daily. ;)

Oh man oh man. I haven't post much (or like at all since S1) but it's this episode. This episode. As soon as Mark announced he was doing FNL I looked it up to see when this episode would be, which at the time was months in the future. Simply put, this is the best episode of TV I have ever seen. I really don't have anything to say other than that.

Wow, I had totally forgotten that the Powderpuff game was in the same episode as the 'Mac is awful' plot. Way to throw one of the funniest subplots in with one of the hardest to watch main plots.

Oh man, that scene where the Williams' family goes to see their new potential house is just amazing and yet so heartbreaking when you know what comes next. The fact that Smash, a teenage boy, gets so excited about the closets in a telling little detail. ("What closets?! You mean no of my stuff in a cardboard box in the corner?" It's so true.)

The scene at the bank is absolutely heartbreaking but Mama Williams is amazing. I think if she and Tami Taylor were to team up they could rule the world in like a day and a half.

Tim Riggins as a coach is hilarious. And when Matt sprinted down the field with Julie was the first time I found Matt Saracen hot. Not just, 'oh he's my little Stinkbug Matty Saracen', but like 'woah, that was really hot.'

Me too. Oh, me freaking too, it makes me so mad. I've seen it a few times in my own family and it's horrible. I have one uncle who isn't certainly not abusive or neglectful of his children (and I don't believe e would ever let anyone abuse them) but has always chosen his wives over them. And has said out-loud repeatedly that his wife (kids' stepmom) is the most important thing to him. His youngest daughter finally moved in with me because she was so tired of feeling like a second-class citizen in her own home.

I almost can't believe Tyra's mom chose her (feels too good to be true) but I'm so, so glad she did.
