If I read your comment correctly : ) I'm writing in response to "Guess I'm stuck with Ken for a bit ... I'll survive." Try to look at it this way ... Ken was divinely appointed to bring us this information for reasons we aren't fully aware of. Trust in that reasoning without knowing its origin, and search for the answer with the tools made available to us, thus far. You are being pressed to stretch beyond your comfort zone, and that's a good thing. That said, perhaps part of the lesson here is to learn how to engage your mind and soul in the absence of Laura's exuberance and in the presence of Ken's evenness. They (Ken & Laura) represent well the different types of personalities you will inevitably come across throughout your lifetime ... each with their own mission.
Love your story ... thank you for taking the time to share in detail your breakthrough. Congratulations. Our group is blessed beyond measure to have our minds opened in such ways. The most exciting part for me is in the infinite possibility ... this is only the beginning.

I'll tell you what, if my guy isn't afraid of what other guys think and realizes that the way to my bed is through taking care of my heart and placing value upon me, I promise I'll repay him back in spades in the bedroom. Great, steamy sex is the reward for a loving, deeply intimate, connected relationship ... the icing on the cake.
Way to go, Dana! I find CANCEL CANCEL to be highly effective, as well. As I say it to myself, I envision a cassette recorder ... as I'm saying cancel cancel I am rewinding the tape just enough to cover up my negative thought or statement ... Then I say to myself: okay, begin again ... I restate a positive statement to counteract the effects of my negativity. I then repeat the statement several times to reaffirm to myself.
Quite fascinating and so very simple in concept. I'm eager to try this technique. Thank you, Natalia :-)
