Why are you even chasing the car? Let them do their job and leave them alone. It's like chasing the domino's delivery guy. They are going to think this town is nuttier than we are already perceived to be. They may even not ever come back, then we won't be able to utilize Google maps all because of your quest to chase them down!
That just about sums it up!
I know a lot of south residents who are in favor of having bargain prices in their backyard instead of having to pay a premium or drive clear across town and break even on gas. I think the real problem here is attitude.. a lot of south side residents are either stuck in the 60's and can't make rational judgements to modern day reality no matter how bad the economy gets.. or you have the rich living up on the hill who can afford to pay premium, don't give a rats a$$ about the working majority, and are going to support their other rich business owner friends. Look what Rick (MC Prez) just pulled... Bottom line this town can not AFFORD to WHINE about an old baseball stadium or WANT the luxury of another park, this irresponsible childish attitude needs to stop. This town needs a school district that isn't bankrupt, a town with more jobs, and people, who if they can't think beyond themselves, to SHUT THE HE** UP and let those who care about this city and its economy and its education do what they need to do to improve things.
I do believe that is what is holding this town up..... people stuck in the past and can't move forward!

lets just have another "park to play in" how nice.... well if this town was full of jobs with a rich educational program that would make sense but the reality is that this town CAN NOT AFFORD ANOTHER PLAYGROUND, this town needs jobs.... this town needs to WORK... this town needs money for a BANKRUPT SCHOOL DISTRICT that uses text books that are over 20 years old!!! GROW UP EUGENE! this city might be a beautiful place to live and play but WORK comes before PLAY.
Amen to that! Let's Grow Up Already! I am sick of hearing all these adults whine about their memories of Civic Stadium, it is ludicrous that there is even a debate on this issue. This town desperately needs to learn how to take care of it self and do for it self. People stop being so selfish and allow there to be job growth and education for the kids! And MC I love you dearly, but stay the HE$$ out of IT!
That's right Market of Choice should stay the He** out of it, but of course they won't since their costumers will all go to Fred Meyer since their prices are so d*** high!!
