I wish njok would randomise the listing of songs with every page load.

Due to short attention span, the visibility of Dorobucci, and the higher listed songs, is more likely to guarantee it clicks than one of the songs in the lower segment.

As for Buhari vs GEJ..the BEST tool available to predict someones future actions (apart from being psychic ) is by judging someones past actions. In their case, this is easy to do as both have held this position before. Nigerians Please do your research.

I think a lot of people don't understand what the word IMPRINT means:

Black Diamond is an IMPRINT
StarBoy is an IMPRINT

Wande coal did not leave Mavin (i am assuming it is an imprint of MAVIN).

Never the less, an imprint can be a compromise move by the record label to pacify the artist who has outgrown his nest.

It can also be a SMART move by an artist who wants his own identity but does NOT want to handle the intricacies and drama of running his own label.

Wizkid (or any other artist) cannot afford to be out of the limelight for weeks or else he will be quickly forgotten. Too many artists out there fighting for the spot and too much money to be made. As an artist you also have to deal with the fact that your opportunity to make money is on a clock.

I'd argue that the "fatigue" you are referring too is the cognitive dissonance you feel between your love for the artist and the constant reminder of the TRUE musical capability of the artist. So much exposure to wizkid has really brought to center stage his lack of lyrical content and repetitive lyrics. Although i'd cut him some slack and say some of his stuff has been leaked DEMO music
