However I do believe there was one: John Wayne: Bigger Than Life. You also stated that there was no movie (other than a television film) about the life of Pope John Paul II. However, I do believe there was Witness to Hope: The Life of Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II (2002) and From a Far Country (1981). I had a link to the article on my FB page, and what I listed above was quickly pointed out. I ended up removing the link instead of being able to debate it.
