Thanks for the compliment, and to answer your question, they do! The benefit of the summaries is the fact that you get all the important information without all the extra stuff that doesnt really matter. Sometimes, publishers require authors to write alot of extra stuff to increase the page number, so summaries get rid of that leaving you just with what you need!

I never really gave it much thought until recently. I had somebody in my social circle that questioned almost every goal I set for myself. I read Way of the Peacful Warrior in the 7th grade, and it has influenced my life ever since. Its amazing that at the age of 28, I am still trying to master what was taught in the book. I wish I was fortunate enough to have a Socrates in my life!

I will agree with you when it comes to the different kinds of learners. But like you said, most people dont even start there! I should re-state my thesis as \\\"real niggas dont pursue real knowledge\\\", huh?

I for one think that once you leave school, black history month should become black activism month, where we tackle all the major issues in our communities and engage in building/re-building projects, health fairs, seminars, film festivals, spoken word concerts, etc.

Jose, I definitely agree! When I single out blacks, its because part of the hip hop culture prides itself on being ignorant and resistant to reading, specifically non-fiction. I think that EVERY culture on Earth that finds itself in an underdog position should be striving for literacy
