Big Government : Historic PelosiCare Debate Starts Right Now

WIC is a good program. I was on it (and married) when my first child was born. I was 21 and making less than 10 dollars an hour. That being said, certain programs, such as WIC, need stricter limits on the time you can be on them. They should be a hand up not a hand out. Also, those on such programs need to be in school or working with a quarterly submitted g.p.a. and attendance or an report of hours worked and wages earned. I also feel that EVERY DIME that is handed out should be acccounted for. I know several people, unfortunately, who recieve food stamps only to turn around and sell them for 50 cents on the dollar. Sickening. And, I learned, unreportable. Once again, I went off on a tangent. Sorry!

Is there any way to take away Pelosi's power? She seems mentally unstable to me. Political Barbie past a prime she never had. (I really do dislike her. She gives me the creeps.)

Big Government : Republicans Plan Second Rally To Defeat Health Care Bill

Makes me truly wonder if these people dont just sit around and play a twisted game of monopoly. What is reality to them? Few have ever had a real job. How many worry about how to feed their families or ANY of the countless tasks that we all take on daily? Every time I picture the lives that they must live, it just seems surreal and artificial. And they have the gall to call us astro-turf. We need to make reality come crashing down on them.. How I would love to see THEm in an unemployment line.

Big Government : Why We Love Sen. Coburn, Reason #325: Dr. No Threatening to Have Bill Read on Senate Floor

If there is anyone that disallows this from taking place, should Coburn decide to go ahead, the repercussions would be monumental. Well, if the media decides to become fair and unbiased again. 3 questions would need to be answered: What is in that bill that you are afraid of us finding out? Why is is so important that it cannot wait (while our troops are deemed less important. Iminent danger to lives today vs. what will go into effect in 2013.) ? (sorry for the side note :) ) and WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

Big Government : **Breaking**: ESPN Reports Limbaugh To Be Dropped From Group Bidding to Buy St. Louis Rams

i was told long ago that the reason pro athletes are paid so much is because they have a limited time to earn money from their chosen trade. essentially they need to get their money and be gone. that is white and black players alike, btw. my question on that is, doesn't everyone have a limited time to earn their money? i could have an anyurism tomorrow and my income would be gone. but i digress. The nfl is NOT a black only franchise!!!! walmart greeters and pimps aren't either. These fascists need to hold a mirror to their own before they start to sling their comments. Rush made no racial statements like the above poster. To paint him with thesame brush is narrow minded. But, thank God that you have the freedom to say what you feel, as do I and the rest of the people reading this.

it amazes me how alot of actors, athletes and other over paid people can be so for socialism. do they not realize the impact that b.o., his agenda, annd liberal thinking will have upon their lives? seriously, do you see alot of movies, recording albums or pro-athletes coming out of china? or the former soviet union? side note : i am aware that there are conservatives in each of the aforementioned categories, they just don't get as much press. not that they still aren't over-paid.

This is not an inheirited issue. It is an American issue. There can be no honor in inaction. He has ignored our soldiers for too long. Any deaths resulting from his wavering and pandering are squarely upon his shoulders. Any lives lost due to his ego will be murder.

He's good at playing humble though. He believes his own press. What's that saying that goes along with that? I really can't remember. Heres another one: pride goes before a fall. I really think he feels that he does deserve it and in his heart he is thrilled at this 'support.' I do agree that he is quickly becoming a joke. Soon we will see cartoons of him as a puppet with the U.N. holding the strings.

There is little that I admire more than someone standing up and saying "I screwed up. I am sorry." It takes a courageous person to admit to their mistakes, yet something so simple can diffuse almost ANY situation, and lead to many positice outcomes. This is something that was not taught to me, just learned from my own experiences. It is something MANY people instictively know.

"A waste is a waste, no matter how small" Don't you as a taxpayer get tierd of being concientious with your personal money while the government spends like there is no bottom? I really don't care how much these special interests get be it 1 million or 1 dollar. Our country is in deep financial trouble. We CANNOT spend our way out of debt. it wouldn't work in your home or mine. How can it work in Washington? How can these people morally continue to pull this bull? Thank you for your comment, btw.
