no, i mean it goes into safe mode, has that screeen pop up saying to restore the springboard, then what happens after you restore the springboard? how long does it work after that?

for anyone who is experiencing the springboard crashing...

Mine was doing it to, but i just restored and installed all my jailbroken stuff faithfully. it had been crashing whenever i tried to drag an icon from one page to another. once i installed cydia updates and jailbroken apps, it started working. of course, all that required a few reboots, so maybe that's what fixed mine.
