Next time you comment, try reading everything instead of skimming. The silly drought has already been addressed in the comment section. The close-minded points you brought up are hardly worth responding to, but very quickly. 1) Input costs are going up across the board, some companies can absorb and some cannot. Even more amusing is that the map you yourself provided debunks your very assertion. The drought is primarily Texas, Arizona, parts of Colorado, New Mexico, parts of Nebraska. Primary corn states are: Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Minnesota. On your map you provided those states are experiencing moist conditions. The only state that has some regions affected by drought is Nebraska. See, apologists will always try to justify and explain, but facts, they are stubborn things.

That is exactly the problem, once the violence starts the whole situation spins out of control. �Police are very reactionary they crack down immediately without much thought. �It is a preventive mechanism to insure they always maintain control. �That is why provoking them is entirely stupid. �

My suspicion is that they were provoked on purpose - I did not know about CA police being especially brutal - perhaps someone in the crowd did. �The police overreacted and now there is a national story. � This is not any different than the Arab Spring, �it evokes far more sympathy.

Anyway, you are focusing on the emotional consequence. �I am focusing on legality. �Police always have a right to \"defend\" themselves from all danger whether real or not. �That is what they did.�

I am not supporting police brutality at all, I am simply observing that this was not a random act of violence towards \"peaceful\" protesters.�
There is nothing excusable or defensible about provoking the police by pelting them with bottles, it is stupid.

Should they have used flash bangs? �No, but once violence breaks out it becomes a moot point of determining how much violence is appropriate.�

Socialism in any form is flawed because it implies that one's private property must be seized. �This is the anti-thesis to a healthy country where citizens can engage in capital formation.
We here in America, now engage in two grotesque forms of capital destruction.

1) �We take it away by force through entitlements and taxation
2) �We destroy the capital itself.

Socialism needs to be stricken from our minds entirely, but too many individuals believe that a healthy blend between capitalism and socialism forms an ideal economy - of course nothing can be further from the truth.
