Played with one of the betas of Windows 7 - it is better than the previous versions, had nice features, but didn't impress enough to think of switching back (switched to Macbook half a year ago).

While being first is obvious to measure, being best is very subjective. I guess that if a certain product wins other, it implies that it was the de-facto the best product in its category.
