I know someone's TD'd me for this, but let's be clear what the new GOP's key issues are: * No taxes at all ever * An end to most reproductive rights * Demonizing gays, immigrants, and Muslims * Pushing a particular form of Christianity And given how central anti-gay animus to the party's identity now, I just don't see how there's space for GOProud or other similar groups. I'm all for a good uphill battle, but this feels like Stockholm syndrome.

They're called GOProud now - and yes, I totally agree. I disagreed with, but sort of understood the LCR position back in the 1980s, but their level of denial about where they stand in their party just seems pathological at this point.
