That's the best you got? you know I'm referring to the frustrations of their confusion and not the literal having of satisfaction to watch them die.

well at least you're honest about it....but would you really care because it's not about the fact that you were once a democrat? that it was more important that you ended up standing for what you believed in? I mean don't get me wrong, you do have a valid point ultimately, but you have to agree, so do we. if you didn't really care about the church, why would you care, to the point of paying for it, if you were recognized in something that wasn't real anyways? And lets not forget the deeper meaning, you know its incredibly bad news when somebody decides to fall away from the church, especially when it's made this public and to this degree. It really crushes the hearts of those who believe because maybe, in some cases, we did not do our jobs to be there for that person or to speak to them more about the heart of God. You know it's part of our job to help our brothers out amidst struggles. Not to say I could be there for the guy in England that decided to be de-baptized but the fact that somebody else didn't....

Well as a Christian (as Christianity is the topic in this particular case), it's important (but no magical saving potion) to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as explained in the Great Commission. So yes, a relationship with Christ runs deep, but if that's the case, than it will poor out on the people that the person makes contact with in some way. But we are called to be as transparent as possible and explain our passion for Jesus so that others may be saved.

Doesn't mean that Water baptism at age 1 is gonna do anything though. Like it is with all other things, there is a line of balance on how a Christian or anyone of any religious (b.t.w. I hate religion) affiliation should raise their child. of course, nobody can walk this line perfectly, but it is important to try. Here, we differ with the Catholics, they practically believe that you must be baptized to be saved, and protestants typically as a whole do not believe that is the truth. If i thought sprinkling some water on my kids face was gonna save his soul, count me in. But it's merely a public act of acknowledgment of the saving power of Jesus Christ- one that should be made upon the decision of the individual and not their parents.

you can not compare the Bible against those who read it... that's like somebody who says something which becomes gossip. we all know that gossip is full of things that are distorted or untrue. Like wise, a follower of Christ and a doer of the Word is not likely to be right on target. So if you got a problem with Christians, take it up with them but leave the Bible, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and even the Angels out of that one. They are not the cause for the imperfectios of man.

I hope you know that a man like Nietzsche does not matter among Christians. So your quote is irrelevant. If your gonna argue with us, argue on our terms. prove us wrong on our own ground.

spoken by a true wise man. I deal with that whole post modernism thing in my college classes and I wanna strangle them sometimes. All they can do is babel about how it doesn't have to be true for them. It's as the old saying goes- "one mans junk is another mans treasure". This is the end of something big and nobody gets it except for people like us...

That's not the problem though. They have these physical reasons for not believing in Jesus. I'm sure their most noted reasoning is that Jesus never really did anything to help them or make them feel better. They have fallen into selfishness and have used the physical world as means to prove that Jesus is some how fake. for instance you would hear them say "he never came to my rescue when my wife died" or "i never got anything out of church" or maybe it's simply that the Darwinian evolutionists have been screaming at them that long and that hard to the point where they become diluted. Most people are not in a real practicing relationship with Jesus as it is, so when you add it all together your destined for problems.

I think what atheists want you to think about though is the fact that there is nothing; you might as well enjoy earth and have a so called "freedom" to do whatever the heck you want. Of course I know better, Jesus is lord. But even if there is nothing (and there's not... nothing) I can't imagine living a life that was that shallow. I don't like myself that much to be that cool with thinking that this world... is it.

I disagree. People say how religion and politics don't work, yet there are examples of when they have. People act like it's an absolute but it can be done. Look at Israel and the Jews back in the good old days of the old testament. Heck, look at the Jews now. They are unified under the same principals like one massive kick butt team. Look at mid-evil Europe and the Crusades. Sure, it wasn't a brilliant scheme to go start a bunch of conflicts over land but the Europeans were all united under the same idea which they believed was unto God. and God obviously was not for it, and made it obvious. It's when people get cocky that religion and politics don't work. for instance, when the Catholic church started claiming so much power, excommunicating kings and nonsense like that, or America today where were trying to figure out what freedom is.... When people are unified UNDER their god like they claim their religion tells them, they do well but when they start thinking they are the voice of their god as is the case with the Sun King of France, you have some serious wars and problems arise. It will happen every time because we are imperfect people in an imperfect world and there is no rule or regulation you can set that will change any of this and it will simply always be a problem. So yes it does work, but always for a short season when the next bimbo steps into office and thinks hes gotta take care of the worlds problems.

See when you don't really believe in something you don't make it part of your life to go around telling everyone that you hate that thing. Surely there's a time and a place for it, but I don't believe in Satanism, or Hinduism, Taoism or any of those things, and because of it, I would never tell anyone why they shouldn't believe in it either. Instead I would rather tell people why they should believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died and rose again to save EVERYONE. What I'm telling you is that you've made it apart of you to hate something, and if you are so free, why are you so worried about everyone else needing to hate that thing too? You've given no hope to the world, and there's something about that that people naturally want to reject; call it some mutation in DNA or something given to all humans from birth because we were made in the image of God. heck call it whatever you want, but people want hope in a future. I know you do too, you want everyone to deny God and for you to be in a society where everyone has the same thoughts about God as you. Where technology and evolution are the things that matter. So if that's the thing you want tell me why I should believe in technology and evolution instead of pleading a case against something, that according to you, is not real. Maybe you don't care to tell everyone God isn't real. It reminds me of a person that has hallucinations screaming "your not real!" in the corner of the room. If He isn't real, why should you have to remind yourself all the time that that's the case to you? seems to me like you believe that God is real alright yet he is some sick little kid that you can blame everything on. Really I couldn't blame you for seeing him in that light either because that's human nature. But it makes you seem down right stupid for trying to tango with a power far greater than you. Would you like to get struck by lightening or something? Don't you know to not mess with the guy that has the loaded gun? Really the truth is that I don't think He would do such a thing to you, and I do not wish ill to you, which makes it all the more interesting. You are in a man's house that offers you health, good life, a family, a job, comforts, etc. and you mock him, spit in His face and tell him He's not real. You can scream as loud as you want about how He's fake or He's sick but in the end, He still created you're vocal chords and He still allows you to scream at Him. That's how much He cares for you. and the length of this comment is not even the beginnings of how much I care for you, unnamed person, too.
