Apathy Online : What Kind of Christians Are We?

I got that from a Chuck Baldwin sermon a while ago... Baldwin failed to mention that the entire story was not about taxes, and that it is about the hypocrisy of the religious leaders, who, according to their position, should not even had the coin in their possession! Perhaps I'll mention that in another blog post. The only time Jesus pays, or endorses paying taxes, is when he has Peter fish for the tax money. That was to avoid offending others, because Jesus did not come to the earth over taxes.

Apathy Online : LEAP Member Kicked Out For Disobeying Immoral Laws

I appreciate that Jack is accepting of police officers not arresting marijuana users and does not outright criticize those who do. I also understand that this is probably a decision made for the "good of the organization." Unfortunately, LEAP seems to have a reputation of not helping officers that publicly put their neck on the line for the organization (although I do need to verify this, that is the reputation that LEAP has when it is mentioned by members). While doing this, they excommunicate an extremely helpful member who has made, in the eyes of LEAP, a statement he should have not made.
