Griz is correct. Times are also different now in that both parents need to be working to keep up with today's bills. Single parents have it even harder. So, yes it is the parents' jobs but they need help these days.

I'm with you too. Why sleep a mile down the road in a vehicle when you have a bed in a house a mile away? And leaving the burning house while your children are in there? I don't know....doesn't sit right with me.

They planned to film, came in and filmed. If a film company planned to film there, the film company would need the necessary permits to come in and film. Doyle has the same set of rules to adhere to and he didn't. His having to apply for a permit does not encroach on his right to free speech and I think it's ridiculous that he hides behind that to bend the rules. Stop abusing the first ammendment.

Maybe western state hospital could consider tying their looney toons to a rope before letting them out for outdoor recreation. Would make sense, make everyone's job easier.

"While crime at other nearby stations is up, over the two month test police have had 33 fewer calls at the 162nd Avenue stop than during the same time last year." So crime is simply moving to other stops. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that the only 'change' here is in location.
