That's the kind of plans I'm talking about. I know you are not the only one. How far do we go before we determine this isn't working, and we fall back on the plans? What will be the tipping point? I suppose none of us really know, but I'm tired of fighting the system. I just want to live free. I want to earn my own way, and I don't want the government taking it away and deciding for me who deserves what. I don't want to be forced to pay for social programs that I would never use because I have ethics and morals. I will work for what I need until I break my back. I will make good decisions in life, not selfish decisions that leave me with junk and piles of debt. I feel like the government will continue to rob Peter to pay Paul. We won't last long at this rate. What is the moment that will make someone run for the hills? When is it too much? I apologize for all the questioning. I guess I'm trying to figure out what would be that moment for me.

What if its not our fault. What if all it takes is another "crisis"--natural or created. What if someone decides to hit us while we're vulnerable. Its not impossible. One could only imagine the power grab that would happen. Most of us have practiced the philosophy of "live and let live". Only recently have some of us began to realize that the other side is not letting us "live." When will it not be taboo to talk about a contingency plan. I'm not giving up. I'm just daring to think the unthinkable, but I know I'm not the only one.

Just a thought.....take it however you like. I'll be vague. It's open to interpretation.
We are on a runaway train. Does anyone feel like its too late to pull the brakes? Does anyone feel like we should just jump off the train. I'm sure it has crossed many minds. When do we know if we have gone too far? When do we start making a backup plan? Many of you are already preparing for self-sufficiency. Should we begin to prepare for those things that some feel may be inevitable?
