A very long, very much liked, crossover fanfic between MLP and the Fallout Franchise. It is incrediblylong, and quite violent in someparts, but it is fairly well written and has characters that one can become attached to.

Most of FiW is self-described by it's creators as being "surrealist." So the bit in which jokes are repeated are meant to be more isconcerting than make you question when they will end. Specifically ont hat example you have the repetition of scene, but each one takes place in a different train of thought (happiness, questioning, anger, worry, and acceptance), which I think is quite amusing. And with your second point, they have said their biggest comedic influence was likely 'Arrested Development' so if that is of a comprable comedic tone to those shows you believe are a match for comedic style, then you are likely correct.

I would assume that they were looking to model their nerdy/otaku Luna off of a voice that seems to be a bit "stereotypical" of that kind of person.

I do see the similarities, but I would say that the comedic structure is mostly different. Family Guy relies mostly on long-form timing (overly long bits where the humor lies in the ridiculousness), pop culture references (which FiW has, but in a more subtle manner, with no "appearances") and cut aways. I can see some similarities, but on the whole the humor is of a different style. Also, Family Guy is MUCH more mature than FiW, which I also appreciate.

Luna's was probably an extension on the fact that she seems like an awkward social outcast in the actual show (being not familiar with social norms, and being overly entusiastic and loud), and the fact that her chariot ponies look like the "pony creator" ponies that you can find everywhere (specifically the bat wings make this).

In retort: Spike is kind of abused in the actual show a bit, so it's more akin to commentary ton his role on the show than pure cruelty.

"And now Spike has been... Punched!" It is a nice reversal of the original line ("And now the punch has been... Spiked!") and adds a layer of humor to the 'Spike is mistreated' commentary on the original show. In fact, you could interpret mostof the characters as some level of commentary ont he original version. I could explain further, but it would take a lot of time.

I would have to disagree, tattoos can be great as both works of modern art and that of a statement of personal importance. Now, whether or not at pony tattoo falls under any combination of those categories withstanding, I have great affinity for getting a tattoo if and when I feel passionate enough to do so.
