The Leeds's Business Research Division, led by Dr. Richard Wobbekind, Associate Dean of External Relations and my former Professor, recently released an economic forecast that mentions "Boulder County had the highest concentration of companies in the medical devices and equipment sector for “medium-sized” metropolitan areas in the nation in 2006." (Colorado Daily) He further suggests med and biotech as pillar's of stability and growth (my interpretation) in the overall Colorado economy. Let's not disappoint!
On a personal note, I vow to strengthen BioBeer's connection to its Colorado roots and the Beat Generation heritage imbued in our group through a recent event by advocating for events at our lesser known but historically significant saloon's. Am I the only one that likes dive bars? (queuing up the comment thread...)
