Not included, but should be, is a requirement that local govrenment violations of due process, in ad valorem or other tax schemes, should be actionable in federal courts. The Federal Tax Act puts comity ahead of compliance with the Bill of Rights - and undermines property ownership, accountability, and enables conduct that looks like fraud. Also State Attorney Generals should automatically have authority to prosecute local and state due process violations - without any excuses or the need for specific state statutory authority. If this country is to be a nation of laws, then compliance should be paramount.

If I am on social security and enrolled in medicare part b, why should I need to also acquire additional insurance?

I have a chronic condition requiring blood test every six months. Local lab charges $150 for the test - but personnel are unpleasant and inept. My doctor recommended the hospital's out patient lab. I told the staff person I would pay cash, nevertheless was asked, unsuccessfully, for information like my social security number, She also needed my age. Not for any medical reason, but to use to identify me. Why should personal information be used for that reason?

The hospital charged me $180 for the blood test, calling the charge "as estimate". Sure enough, I got a subsequent bill for another $11, later removed, and that invoice suggested the charge, if I had paid with insurance, would have been over $300.

It's questionable if the doctors know or care about how their front offices are managed, asking for information they don't need to have, and I leave. I have serious questions about whether the doctor have sufficient education and expertise to actually treat me, and I have no reason to believe he/she is trustworthy.
