A lot of people come down on single moms because they work, but then they'll come down on them harder for being on welfare. I am a single mom and I work my tail off, but at the end of the day my kids know who loves them, who works hard for them to have what they need, and who loves them, but they also know who will be the first one to get them in line if they need it! :)

You know when we were younger, our parents wouldn't put up with anything defiant. My cousin has a 14 year old daughter, and I heard her tell her mother that she would call 911 if she ever touched her, and I said if my kids ever say that to me, they had better have bags packed to leave with whomever comes to help! It's ludicrous the way kids talk to their parents. Now, with all the online predators, if YOU don't know how to use a computer, then your child certainly doesn't need their own! Cell phones, I understand they are good for emergencies, but why do they have unlimited access to the internet, texting, and minutes? They don't need that much freedom. My kids know who the mom is in our house, and you're right they DO need rules, and discipline, I am thankful everyday my parents cared enough about me to check on me, not allow me to hang out with certain kids, and make rules, and give me consequences.

I am fortunate to be healthy, but my question is, what about passengers who travel by wheelchair? There are plenty of people who suffer from paralysis, or DVT, or anything else that makes it necessary for them to be in wheelchairs, so in an emergency they can't "assist themselves". Then why does an airplane make room for passengers with disabilities? This was wrong to deny this person their flight. I bet someone with a screaming baby would be welcome with open arms.

WMU has played some Big Ten schools in the past, as a matter of fact, they've played Michigan for about 4 or 5 straight years before this year. So it's not a step down for ND as far as I am concerned. A win is a win. And that game was a blast to be at.

I personally, hate knowing my tax dollars are supporting those who are diabled because they are morbidly obese, have lung cancer from smoking, or liver failure because of alcoholism. Why should I have to pay for your bad choices? Type 2 diabetes can be prevented. COPD symptoms can be lessened. There's all sorts of things we can complain about our tax dollars paying for, but we choose to argue and beat the dead horse of abortion.

It's school of choice, that is the issue. Benton Harbor has the stigma of being the "harlem" of SW Michigan. It's unfrotunate for sure. There aren't a lot of jobs, and the people of St Joe aren't exactly embracing their neighbors. Benton Harbor isn't a bad town, it needs help.

The facts never added up, and the mother needs to be prosecuted. When stories come out like this immediately everyone wants to see the monster in jail. 12 people on the jury saw the true facts and things we didn't see and they said innocent. Which is sounding to me was the right answer.

This seems too fast for a child molestation case. But no medical evidence, even though he's accused of penetrating the victim who was 8, you'd think that would cause some evidence or damage internally. Then the police don't have one interview, and the other has technical difficulty? It doesn't make sense. This whole case is just weird.

We are talking about an 8yr old girl who was allegedly penetrated by an adult male. That is why it is disturbing to me there's not medical evidence. I hope and pray this child was not abused and her mother has a vendetta, but if the child is truthful, then I hope the man rots in prison, and then in hell.
