SECONDED.

I'm really sorry to hear about your cousin - mine was in a similar position two years ago, although he was lucky enough that his sister turned out to be enough of a match to donate.

The charity he used - and raised money for during his treatment - was Anthony Nolan (https://www.anthonynolan.org/). They only accept donors up to 30, but it's only a spit sample. Takes a few minutes, if that!

It made one of the best stuffings for a roast chicken I've ever eaten, I know that.

You know I've read the books a good few times, but it's taken me this long to realise it:

Rincewind the Failed Wizard clearly = "Jon Snow? Ah, Ned Stark's bastard."

I am... seriously disillusioned with this series.

I mean, yes, I quite liked Clara as commander of the forces. Trouble was, she no longer sounded like Clara. At all.

And why on earth would a Cyber version of the Doctor's intelligence have that much emotion? Yes, Mr Clever was a good villain, but it certainly wasn't a cyber-villain. This epsiode made no sense from a characterisation point of view, and scarily I wasn't even surprised, since this season has given me no hope at all.

I'm just really sad because I loved the first season of Eleven's Doctor, and it's gone rapidly downhill since then. I wonder if the series needs a showrunner who isn't involved so much in the writing side of things, since both RTD and SMoffat have fallen into the trap of lazy, self-congratulatory writing in their later seasons.

OH WELL. Holding out for the season finale just in case there's a decent twist that re-contextualises some stuff...

Oh, I'm so glad you like Nick! I mean, he is a dick in many ways, as a person - but as a character, I find him really interesting and engaging.

In fact, I adore all of the main four - Nick, Alan, Mae, Jamie - in this series, even though they're all so different. Aaaaand it's really hard not to be spoilery, so I'll shut up here, but yesssss.

Awesome, in that case - the ROT13 above reads: Pretty sure she's counting on Princess Tutu being unable to convince the shard to come to her without confessing her love for the prince... and thereby disappearing herself.
