KOMO - Seattle, WA : Boy breaks into zoo, feeds animals to croc | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | National

no matter what the poor animals eaten are lost for forever, perhaps the zoo can hire a couple of security gaurds to watch over the place, any place holding dangerous animals should also have at least some human supervision so this won't happen again, second the parents should have thier child taken away from them if they can't keep track of a 7 yr. old (no questions asked) 3rd, the boy may be too young to be penalized,or tried in court but he is not too young to be put on """ publicized feces clean-up duty at the zoo""" ..... a year for each animal that died thier horrible death, and hopefully that makes an example for all children...can I get an amen?

I took a job at boeing in 1996 as a custodian,my hire in pay back then was $8.72 per hour, after reading all the negative comments posted on here do people really feel they would give anything to make $8.72 per hour? after working at boeing for 12 years-the max rate of pay for boeing custodians is only $18.04 per hour, how does the media keep posting there are 27,000 machinist making $28 per hour? just because I'm an IAM union member who pays union dues does not mean I make $28 per hour, maybe those who are ready to retire in high grade jobs make that much but all 27,000 IAM union members do not!! I would like to see anyone but a house at $8.72 per hour which is less than fifty cents per hour above washington states minimum wage......come on people does $8.72 per hour sound greedy ?,even after 12 years with the company at $18.04 per hour I would like to see anyone buy a house around here with those wages,BOEING keeps saying things like they are staying competitive,& this is the best contract offer in the industry,if they want to be competitive how about offering us 6 weeks vacation like AIRBUS,instead of offering to take-away our death benifit to our spouse's!!

For all the people still currently working at boeing remember the 69 day strike of 1995?? if that strike lasted 10 more days boeing was going to start laying off engineers--remember that? ,so if we do have to play hardball with boeing,& do have to strike through the winter maybe we'll all be together at the unemployement line wishing there were still american jobs making american products then boeing can sell all it's plants,& move to china,& make airplanes at a tiny fraction of the labor cost,& that will be an airplane I'll refuse to fly on myself ""kind of like a japenese harley davidson"" poor quality,& no good re-sale value.......G O D bless what little is left of america!!!

Here's a question for you; if you can't treat your workers right, how can you treat your customer right??? I've worked at boeing 12+ years now,and since the day I was hired I've been repeatedly been told by management over, and over that my job might be outsorced---ask yourself,is this a common boeing practice to keep people living in fear? as a worked who has been constantly been given compliments by boeing customers yet constantly harrassed by boeing management I can't help but wonder why all the (non-IAM workers) are so quick too judge when they are not in our shoes, and have no idea what we go through on a daily and/or yearly basis

Has anyone noticed that besides the fact that IAM workers are on strike, that the VOTE was almost 90 % of those workers that voted for that strike? in fact has anyone noticed that 3 years ago also nearly 90 % of those same workers voted for a strike? ALSO has anyone noticed that for the first time in ""boeing history"" boeing has TWO strikes in a row??? we all know what they say in the american game of baseball---THREE STRIKES & YOUR OUT!!!! ,almost everything purchased in the USA is now made in china,or some other country, boeing is one of the last true things made in AMERICA by AMERICAN WORKERS ;that is a fact we should be proud of,but instead we are in a labor dispute two contracts in a row with a near 90 % of the IAM workers [both contracts] growing weary of boeing bullying us around with takeaways after takeaways in the midst of record profits, and a huge backlog of work.
