Yes! I grew up in the states, where Tintin is decidedly not popular, but those stories (and Snowy!) will always have my heart. A problematic fave indeed, though - I am trying to be more mindful of this and educate myself/examine how I feel about it.

I don't have one particular song - mostly I add the word 'cat' into any song that's in my head. But, most nights when i am going to sleep and she hops on the bed, I sing:

Here she comes, Miss Americat!

I think she appreciates the fanfare.

So my comment might be out of place, as I haven't watched 30 Rock, BUT, I love Videology and agree that it could be a very Toast-y place. I was there for Arrested Development bingo on Wednesday! Sometimes they have Harry Potter trivia!

Thank you! I'm so happy to hear hopeful stories of getting all three and not settling. Also hearing that it didn't start that way is helpful! I definitely tend to fall into a trap of thinking about how relationships 'should' be, so it's so good to hear about the evolution of different healthy relationships.

I guess I wonder how it is that you knew to end the other (if I'm interpreting correctly) good-but-not-great relationships? Maybe this is my own specific brand of anxiety speaking, but I have SUCH a hard time letting go of things that are 'just good' unless I truly see the good becoming bad (this has mostly been to my detriment).
