Open kennels for the dogs = lots of noise when the doggy daycare next door is open. Poor kitties.

The black plague was caused by fleas. People like you who were frightened of everything killed the cats which helped the rats that carried the fleas to breed out of control.

It's not like the cat is touring the White House and the Pentagon...it's in quarantine for cripes sake!

You really hate animals don't you?

Cats carry a very limited number of infectious diseases, most of them are only dangerous to other felines not humans.
It care is probably being donated by the vet.

Just who would have to pay for that autopsy anyway? Blood tests would be the same if the cat was alive or dead.

Huskies are known for their tendency to roam. It's also quite young and may have only that day figured out a way to jump the fence. My eleven month old collie is physically capable of jumping low fences but hasn't yet discovered that ability.
Beautiful dog...looks to be a retriever or maybe a border collie mix. I think this girl "found" a lovely young dog and decided to keep it - the asthma therapy claim is just a load of hooey.

PS. Just FYI - my backyard is fully fenced, lowest gate is 4.5', the dog is chipped, collared w/license and he lives in the house. He's never alone in the backyard for more than a few minutes.

Read the story on Oregon Live...link is above. She "found" the dog the same day it jumped the fence. It also had a collar & tags.
She pretty much stole the dog IMO.

Typically items for sale in stores don't require food, shelter and medical attention.
You would be better off comparing it to a farm. You may need to buy a pair of animals for breeding but after that your "inventory" is "free". You hopefully sell enough of the "free" animals to pay your operating costs but you are bound by market costs as well as demand.
I don't know many farmers who are filthy rich.

It's not much if you take into account two employees, at least one vehicle, rent & utilities.

That doesn't leave a whole lot for veterinary care, food & supplies.

It's Value Village for animals...
