In church last night, our pastor was talking about odd requests... in obediences to the Lord your prayers will be answered. We sang before the service TRUST AND OBEY... HE asked us, in ii kings 4, did she trust in God in Elisha's words? NO, but she obeyed and then after that she trusted him becuz he was right... she was able to fill every vessel that was gathered with what oil she had left in her own vessel. I guess what i am trying to say is that this Biblical story has some of the same factors. Thanks Nick!
A friend of mine and I were talking the other day about just this. Its amazing how woman really want to work instead of taking advantage of being able to rear your own child in your own home. teaching them the ways of the lord. I know that i want Maycie to love God and KNOW who HE is.. and that is my number one goal as a mother:D

I have only been a parent for almost 10 months.. I know there are times that are hard and you are not sure what to do.. but that is when i pray and seek God's Guidance. I know that i am not perfect, but i would never hit my child across the face for tugging on my jacket.. what if they needed to go to the bathroom and instead of getting a spanking they wanted to tell their parent?!? No matter what direction that child would of turned to he would of been punished, im sure :( and they other one, with the parenting ignoring him.. i think maybe they should think about how it would feel if later on when they were trying to tell their child something and they really needed to hear it... and the child ignored them how it would affect them or how it would affect that child..
Some people need to stop and think that what i do today will affect myself/ or someone else in the future:D
