MindoMondo : How Do You Instagram?

That's a good point, Gary. However, I think the short-term goal should be to increase integration with Facebook, not to cripple Instagram's growth. By the way, there are a few third-party desktop browser applications for Instagram. http://statigr.am/ is my curent favorite.

MindoMondo : How Do You Instagram?

I know it's probably not the popular thing to do, but I use Instagram mainly as a springboard to post to other networks (Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare). With location data and support for hashtags and @ mentions, Instagram really has everything it needs to be an all-in-one social network, yet a few obstacles hamper its growth, the lack of a proper portal to navigate it on the desktop being one of the main reasons.

Not surprised here, the folks at Panera do have a heart. The one close to home donates bread and treats every week for our church. I can attest they do things like this often, not artificially to gain attention online. Good for them.

Absolutely, Gary. I think NBC did a fair enough job. I only wish they had done more event reporting, and less story construction, although I completely understand they're going to go towards what sells and can't be blamed too much for it.

MindoMondo : Stop motion: Still Superior to CG

Don't want to start a tomato fight... but I don't think the comparison is fair. It's like saying that painting is a better art form than photography, when BOTH have their place and time. I've even seen some amazing CG + Stop Motion productions, so these media are not at all mutually exclusive. I'm all for giving stop motion its place. I very much admire artists who take it upon themselves to produce films and shorts in this medium, but there's no need to say one art form is superior to another. P.S.: Have you watched the fully-CG piece "The Third and the Seventh"? How's that for organic? ;) http://vimeo.com/7809605
