Do you really believe that authentic experience is absent of outside influences and devoid of change? Why is that? What does it mean to be an insider vs. outsider, culture vs. tourism? I think an exploration of these ideas in a deep and meaningful way would reveal more complexity and ambiguity than is found in your article. Good for debate, though.
