Obviously, these tactics work. Organization was also very key and when it broke down their protests were not very effective. Doesn't matter if you were for or against the CRM but the steps to being acknowledged are proven. You can tell I really do try to stay interested. We have more to work with because they were protesting amendments to the Constitution weren't being upheld. We are protesting the Constitution isn't being upheld. Remember we live in a Republic and it isn't a majority thing but the law which governs our nation. They also formed the NAACP which fought in the courts while the protests were held. Part of the problem is gov't won't let students fail because they would look less than amongst peers. My parents noticed this decades ago and pulled me out of public school and placed me into a private school. The teachers made considerably less money but are much better. Fact to note my 12th grade history teacher was offered a job as a professor at the University of Georgia even though it was worth more money he turned it down because he didn't like the doctrine portrayed. Also my 12th grade english teacher was a professor at the University of Georgia and was indirectly fired because he would not give dominic wilkens (former pro-basketball player) a passing grade (which wasn't earned but necessary to remain basketball eligible) . Don't feel too bad for him. He made up for the lose of income by writing and publishing .....get this.....sports books. Being taught at a state university sociology course on the topic of health care. The reason the text gives of the high cost brought on by uninsured patients is 1.they are less likely to seek preventive care and 2.wait until the later stages of a condition to seek health care (ER visits). The texts views are that waiting until the later stages cause a higher cost which the individual cannot afford to pay and therefor the costs are distributed as an increase cost to the people that can pay. As an ER physician I would like to know if this is true with the understand it may vary with location?
