I meant the speaker button off. I have no idea what's the matter with your phone, maybe it's a hardware problem. I'm sorry that I'm not able to help you, maybe someone else can. If you won't be able to find a solution, then you'll just have to take it back to the store. I hope you have warranty. But don't forget to delete JB and UL if you want to keep your warranty. - if JB is violating terms of use. In UK it does. Do you have your shsh files saved for 4.0.1?

That's weird. Are you able to turn it off while calling or does it just stay that way?

Hey everyone! Just a reminder. If anything goes wrong with your iphone and you're not able to fix it yourself and have to send it back to store or your mobile operator - if you're still under warranty, do not forget to delete jailbreak and unlock. My father forgot to do that and he lost warranty and that really sucks. This goes for UK, I don't know about other countries.

It is safe to upgrade to 4.0, but how are you planing to do that? Because via itunes you can only upgrade to 4.1 - and DON'T DO THAT! You will loose your jailbreak and unlock.

I tried to use home button and tried to turn it off, but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Just saw that it was installed with cydia during upgrade. I know that is working on all basebands, but I just wasn't able to unlock that 3gs. I got signal from my carrier and was able to receive calls, but I was stuck on emergency screen. At one point the unlock did work, but only until I turned the phone off. I had no problems with my iphone 4.

Aha, thanks again, I just installed the patch. And that buzzer icon has orange colour with red dot in the middle and the dot is surrounded by grey star or something like that. It seems to be some kind of music quiz, but I can't delete it. Friend's 3gs is on 3.1.2.. If I won't be able to save her shsh files, I'll just leave at 3.1.2. And that brings another question - is ultrasnow working on all ios? When I tried to unlock 3gs running on 4.0.1 and new baseband, it didn't work, that's why I'm not sure if I should do the update and I don't even know if she has original sim, because they already activated the phone in the store.

Haha, you did :) So double thanks :) Just one more question.. This patch protects my iphone from malicious software - something like that? And now really the last question :) Yesterday I upgraded changes in cydia and now I have buzzer icon on my iphone - why is that? I didn't install it manually..
