Yup. Interestingly, I stood by the media van for quite sometime, trying to hear things that were being said. Truth be known, I couldn't hear much because while all the patriots were out in the heat, MOST (not all) of the news crews were staying in there airconditioned vans. I believe most of the news people left by 5:00 or 6:00, save a photographer or two. There coverage was pretty pathetic.

I kid you not, by 7:00, it seemed like the crowed exploaded. I aksed around, and a great majority of the people simply went to family outings, to the lake, etc., before comming there. Ofcourse, you won't read or hear of that in the MSM.

In short, my wife voted for the first time in her 32 years, after being moved by Sarah Palin. I am sure so many can relate. After the election she wrote Sarah Palin a letter. This genuine person, who practices what she preaches, actually sat down and read what my wife wrote and responded, no camera’s, no press…nothing. Not in some form letter, like you may think. She hand wrote the response on Trigs Birth Announcement. Kinda hard to contest that. The article is a little outdated, but see for yourself.

Since my wife received that letter, she has been on fire. She started her own blog, been a speaker at our towns TEA Party on April 15th, 2009, has become a member of a Texas Women’s Republican group, and now writes for Smart Girl Politics. Most recently, she has been able to meet Michelle Malkin and Katrina Pierson (her most recent post about the Dallas Texas Tea Party). All this because of a simple act of kindness and respect by one Sarah Palin.

And yes, I will keep posting this as it needs to be heard.

Our family drove to the Dallas Tea Party on July 4th, 2009! It was a great affair. My wife was fortunate enough to meet both Michelle Malkin and Katrina Pierson. She posted a great write-up and slide show on her blog...check it out!
