The AIG bonus situation has been a smokescreen. The whole bailout plan has been orchestrated for government takeover of the private sector. I have never been a big conspiracy believer, but I have to say that from the very beginning when Pelosi and Bush agreed on something that something was rotten.

The Obama plan for executive pay gives the Treasury Secretary the authority to seize and wind down a struggling company after consultation with the president and the Fed.

Why would a president need to send and army of volunteers to your doorstep or to accost you in a parking lot to pledge support to him? Is it kind of like Card Check? And, they stress that they want e-mail addresses. So, they will be able to mobilize a virtual army for the president and candidates that they want to support. Then, there is ACORN, who gets our tax dollars to support left wing candidates. And, then there is the real Card Check so that they can get more union members so they can take union dues to support left wing candidates.

And, is it just me or does it bother you that SEIU was picketing AIG? The same SEIU that was founded by Wade
Rathke who founded ACORN and who used to be friends with Bill Ayers in the SDS.

There is video footage of President Clinton calling for war on Iraq before Bush's election. The Clinton administration censored the movie The Path to 9/11 because it was too damning of him. We now have the Clinton retreads running things. And, I personally believe that Obama is a front, a puppet king. That is why he has spent very little time in the Oval Office working the phones to get qualified staff for Treasury. It seems his "only" job is salesman.

The greatness of Obama?? Doing what? His greatness reading a teleprompter and one syllable words like "Hope", "Change", "Yes We Can". I am trying to think of anything other than flit around on Air Force One that he has actually done.

Rahm "dead fish" Emanuel's comment really let the cat out of the bag. Everything Obama has signed since he has been in office is anti-prosperity. This is how we know that Obama is not really "serving" as president. And, let's not forget all the crooks he has chosen to "serve" along with him. We will never be on the road to recovery until something is done about these corrupt politicians.

I totally agree. I was trying to address some of the lies being told to Americans about how health care would improve under a government plan. Our citizens are being misled to think that European and Canadian systems are better than what we have. They aren't told how much government spending there already is on health care and how that actually drives costs up.

Thank you for your service. My dad did 20 years Air Force NCO. We barely lived above poverty level, but I will always be proud of my dad and all of our military. Glenn is really helping those of us who fear the loss of our great country and the freedoms provided by those who have been willing to die for her (and us). If they keep shoving bad policies down our throats, we still have everyone you see here.
