Soccerlens - Football News | Football Blog : The Soccerlens Vote: Who Should Win The 08 Competition?

harasuke - I already replied to your comment but it got lost along with all others, you really need to get your conspiracy theories sorted out somewhere else :) the reason for the vote is that in my view, I can't separate the 3 finalists, they would all be worthy winners. The vote tells me which one of these everyone likes the most.

this is strange, comments seem to have disappeared on this post. It could be the new comment system we're trying out, i'll do some tests.... Update: definitely seems to be the new comment system doing a glitch. the comments are still in the system, they're just not showing up.

The vote was a late addition to the decision - I was initially going to do A, that is choose the winner myself, but I found it hard to choose a winner between these three and was hoping that my esteemed readers could help, because otherwise I was going to split the winnings 3-ways, which wouldn't be right.

correction mate, only Martin's entry came in after the extension. I hope that's not self-incriminating eventually...

Soccerlens - Football News | Football Blog : Arsenal are unworthy pretenders to the throne

and any ignoramus can comment.... by end product I meant scoring goals when needed. I suppose they're needed only when Arsenal are doing everything but scoring, which in essence means no end-product... do provide a source for your stat, and while you're at it, check if you're looking at Arsenal Ladies or Arsenal's first team, because if it's the former I totally submit to your infallible judgment...

I liked the article. He's a tad verbose but T, just because he's smarter than you doesn't mean you get the right to be an ass. It's a good article mate.

Soccerlens - Football News | Football Blog : What would it take for you to leave your dream club?

You couldn't pry me away with a nuclear warhead. I might still date an arsenal fan, but give up United? Probably never. Having said that, it's different for me and different for the players. For the players it's a short career. The desire to win and earn a lot of money is fair, not every player is a fan and I think Ashley Cole from the beginning was more for himself than for the club.
