They take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, I think they're great. A real timesaver and you don't have to worry about someone running a stop sign. I've had that happen twice.

I'm sure city manager Greg Sundstrom had this all planned out, well before the income tax vote. If it had been mentioned before, it might have changed the outcome of the election. He seems to be rather sneaky in his approach to dealing with city residents.

In theory I agree with you and kids should be taught responsibility at an early age, but their parents either didn't teach them, or they didn't listen. They were very young and were probably not mentally capable of making a rational decision on the danger involved.

I have done legitimate reasearch: I worked at a local Hospital and well over half the women giving birth there were non-English speaking Hispanic with no health insurance.
