Sorry, have to agree with the Chamber's Williams on this one. Branson Landing has a sales tax much higher than any in this region, yet no one seems to mind spending money there. And, major cities across the country assess special taxes in retail developments and hotels -- yet nobody seems to complain. I guess if you don't like the idea of a one-cent sales tax in retail developments, you don't have to shop or eat there. It really is quite simple.
