HGTV needed a new take on the million design shows on TV. They really didn't care about quality as Antonio has none, and they also didn't care that he is obnoxious and rude. Remember everyone, bad boy drama sells. So he'll be running around knocking down walls, getting his hands dirty and all that macho stuff. Just a word to HGTV...Your audience IS mainstream. Thanks a lot for caring more about a possible brief ratings spike vs long range quality and the audience really caring about a TV personality. Dan was the CLEAR winner and besides that, we actually enjoyed watching him. He's a nice guy who cares about his work and his clients vs Antonio's brash, ego centric approach. I will definitely NOT be watching Design Star in the future and if they don't replace Genevieve and Candice, the show will continue to go down hill. They gave terrible advice most of the time and were always biased. Stick to design ladies. You are TERRIBLE judges! Stand up, Vern! You know Dan should have won!!!!!
