I am an adult who struggles with a learning disability involving mathematical/spacial skills. The school systems in the 70's/80's didn't have special programs for kids like me. I struggled, I failed, I cried, I fought back (my weapon....hard painful work). I understand the pain of struggling prospective high school graduates, but, at some point in the game you must ADAPT somehow....someway. Everyone's needs are different, but in the name of encouragement, after 12 years of school humiliation, I decided to fight. It took me longer...but it's not a competition with others...it's with YOURSELF!
