Standing up for a melodramatic interpretation of the truth and taking it to such a public level is wrong. This is blown completely out of proportion and is going to give a great school a bad name.

This would have been a very sad story, if it had actually happened. I was a personal friend with this girl at one time and know for a fact that her story is an exaggerated tale complete with a handful of blatant lies. There was indeed a punishment towards this so-called bully, who had been emotionally bullied in turn by olivia, and that punishment was an in-school suspension. There was no ritual as far as I have ever heard of any number of girls targeting another. I specifically remember her pushing the limits with other classmates just to aggravate them. I know that this in no way would warrant any form of bullying, but shows more of a true picture.
And thinking back on her, I remember her as a "mean girl".
