I don't get it. Why can't Republicans or conservatives seem to get a message together? The O-man gives them openings daily and even a half-brain dead leftist could drive a truck through. Why can't they? Or is the "can't get it together" just mainstream media disinformation? The Tea Partiers are certainly organizing.

It is a tempest in a teapot: it will fall completely off the list in a week or two.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 4/17/09: President Obama Makes A Surprising & Strong Statement About Assault Weapons

"The term "assault weapon" is misleading and confusing." Of course it is: it was invented by the Clinton administration to help get the 1994 ban enacted.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : If you've read the 5000 Year Leap then you know ...

There's apparently been a lively debate here that I missed. With respect to the video itself, while I would argue this video is not 100% correct in all the details, it's close enough. I've been saying we have a republic not a democracy for 30 years, since I taught political science. In 1916 we came one step closer to mob rule with the direct election of senators. Now the left wants to do away with the Electoral College and rely totally on majority rule. Very bad idea!

Is there really "an increase in gun violence" or is this a case of the press reporting on every single gun-related event in such a way as to pave the way for new anti-gun legislation?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List Pt. I

Four simple ideas. And government definitely does not need to be involved in all of them: Energy Independence Fiscal Responsibility Win the War on Terror Restore Traditional Values You can fit a lot of specific plans & programs under these headings but these have to be our focus as a People.
