Uh, guys? You both hit a very knee-jerk reaction. I'm no liberal. I'm very conservative and very active on conservative blogs, etc. I was hopey-changing for a chance to vote Tancredo and got stuck with McCain instead.

I just don't equate Letterman's infidelity as a betrayal of trust the way a politician's is. It doesn't mean I like the man or I am liberal

Letterman is a comedian, not a moral role model. It's his job to poke fun at everyone for their foibles - it doesn't mean he has to be a paragon of virtue himself to justify it. He's a PROFESSIONAL COMEDIAN. He's SUPPOSED to make fun of others and politicians, etc.
Letterman isn't making law, policy or doesn't represent you or me.
Did he do something wrong? - boy howdy, yes. Sleazy? Yes. But he is not in any position of public trust or power. He has no power over you.
Really, Letterman only needs to answer to his wife for his cheating.
Since he is a celebrity, his story is in the news, but I don't get the "moral outrage". It's stupid. The man' is a late show host in Hollywood.

Jones was an official contact/organizer for a group of the first "Truthers" suggesting the Bush Administration was responsible for 9/11 back in 2002 - see the document here: http://www.rense.com/general18/march.htm

It wasn't just his signature on the petition in 2004. Jones was/is a truther activist.
No one needs to "smear" him - he's on VIDEO calling Republicans "***holes" not once, as an accidental slip - but over and over.

Good riddance. It is high time we take a good hard look at the Obama appointed "czars" - there is obviously a reason they wanted to skip the vetting process with these clowns.

Great. Maybe he's assessment of the situation in Afghanistan will be off by 2 trillion troops.

We can't impeach this yokel. That would make Biden President and Pelosi VP, which means it would pretty much make Pelosi President.

I can't think of a worse scenario.
